Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 28, 2026
This policy explains what information AOS Content Engine (at app.themepageinsiders.com) collects, why we collect it, who processes it, how long we keep it, and how you can have it deleted.
AOS Content Engine is operated by Awareness LLC, a company in the United States (“we”, “us”).
What AOS Content Engine does
AOS Content Engine is a private, invitation-only workspace. Awareness LLC and the brand partners it works with use it to research, write, design, review and publish social media content for the Instagram and Facebook pages they manage. There is no public sign-up.
When the owner of a social media account gives permission (through Facebook Login, Google sign-in for YouTube, or TikTok Login), AOS Content Engine can publish content that has been approved in AOS Content Engine to that account, and read that account’s post results and comments so we can see what works.
Information we collect
- People who use AOS Content Engine.Email address, name and profile photo (if provided), and role. Sign-in works with a one-time link sent by email; we do not use passwords. If you turn on push notifications, we store your browser’s push subscription (a delivery address and keys) so we can send them.
- Connected Instagram and Facebook accounts. When an account owner connects a page through Facebook Login, we receive an access token for the Facebook Page linked to the Instagram account and the Instagram account’s ID. We look at the list of Pages that login manages only to find the matching account; we store the Page access token and the Instagram account ID, not that list.
- Content and results. The posts, captions, images and videos created in AOS Content Engine, and the results of the connected account’s posts (for example reach, saves, shares, likes and comment counts).
- Comments on connected accounts.Meta notifies us when someone comments on a connected account’s post. We store the comment text, the commenter’s Instagram username and ID, the post ID and the time. We use this to count how many people responded to a post’s call to action (for example “comment a word to get the guide”). AOS Content Engine itself does not send direct messages.
- Messaging and purchase events. Some pages use ManyChat to reply to comments by direct message, and Whop to sell digital products. Those services tell us about conversation events (such as a subscriber ID and, if the person shared it, an email address) and purchases (such as the buyer’s email and order details), so the product can be delivered and results can be measured.
- Connected YouTube and TikTok accounts. When an account owner connects a YouTube channel or TikTok account, we receive basic account information (such as the channel or account ID and name) and an access token that lets AOS Content Engine upload videos the owner has approved. Details are in the platform sections below.
- Public posts. To learn which topics perform, AOS Content Engine studies posts that are already publicly available on platforms such as Instagram, X and YouTube.
- Technical data. Our hosting and error-monitoring services record standard technical information such as IP address, browser type and error details.
How we use it
- To let invited people sign in and use AOS Content Engine.
- To create content, and to publish approved content to the accounts their owners connected.
- To measure how published content performs, so future content gets better.
- To deliver purchased digital products and answer support.
- To keep AOS Content Engine secure and fix errors.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
How we protect access tokens
- Access tokens for connected accounts are encrypted (AES-256-GCM) before they are saved. The encryption key is kept in a separate secrets manager, not in the database.
- We do not write access tokens to our logs.
- Connecting an account requires a signed-in administrator, and AOS Content Engine is served only over HTTPS.
No system is perfectly secure, but we limit what we store and who can reach it.
Who processes the data for us
We use these service providers to run AOS Content Engine. They process data only to provide their service to us.
- Vercel — hosts AOS Content Engine.
- Supabase — database and sign-in.
- Inngest — runs background jobs.
- Sentry — error monitoring.
- Anthropic, OpenAI, HeyGen and similar AI tools — help write and check content and create images and videos. We send them the material needed to make content (for example source text, draft captions, scripts and images). We never send them access tokens.
- Canva — slide design.
- Langfuse — records AI requests so we can check their quality and cost.
- Resend and Postmark — send and receive email.
- Telegram — internal alerts to our team.
- Apify and Google’s YouTube Data API — collect publicly available posts and videos for research.
We also send data to Meta, Google (YouTube) and TikTok when AOS Content Engine publishes or reads content on an account owner’s behalf. We may disclose information if the law requires it.
Cookies and local storage
We use a sign-in cookie, and your browser’s local storage to remember display settings and, if you turn them on, push notifications. Administrators who use the “view as” feature also get a cookie that remembers which account they are viewing. We do not use advertising cookies, and no third party serves ads or content in AOS Content Engine.
How long we keep data
- Access tokens: until the account is disconnected, the token expires, or deletion is requested.
- Content, results and comments: for as long as we work with the brand partner the account belongs to.
- After a deletion request, or when a person removes AOS Content Engine’s access: We delete the data within 30 days (YouTube data within 7 days). We may keep records the law requires us to keep, such as purchase records.
How to ask: see Data Deletion.
YouTube
AOS Content Engine uses YouTube API Services. By connecting a YouTube account you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google’s use of your information is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.
- What we access and store:the channel’s ID and name, and an access token (encrypted, as described above) that lets AOS Content Engine upload videos.
- How we use it: only to upload videos the account owner approved in AOS Content Engine, and to confirm the upload worked.
- Sharing: we do not share YouTube data with anyone except the service providers listed above that host AOS Content Engine.
- Remove access: at any time from your Google security settings: https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions
AOS Content Engine's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Read the Google API Services User Data Policy. We do not use data from Google or YouTube to train AI models.
TikTok
When an account owner connects a TikTok account through TikTok Login, we receive basic account information (such as the account ID and display name) and an access token that lets AOS Content Engine upload videos the owner approved. We use it only for that.
To disconnect, follow TikTok’s instructions for removing a connected app: https://support.tiktok.com/en/safety-hc/account-and-user-safety/connect-to-third-party-apps. You can also email us to disconnect and delete the data.
Instagram and Facebook (Meta)
To remove AOS Content Engine’s access: on Facebook, go to Settings & privacy → Settings → Business Integrations (or Apps and Websites), choose our app and click Remove. AOS Content Engine can then no longer read or publish for your page. To delete the data we already hold, follow the data deletion instructions.
Children
AOS Content Engine is a business tool. It is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the European Union and United Kingdom), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you think a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and you can withdraw permission at any time by disconnecting your account. Depending on where you live (for example California, the European Union or the United Kingdom), you may have further rights under local law. We will not treat you differently for using them. To make a request, email support@themepageinsiders.com.
